Yes! We offer free standard shipping on all single & subscription orders over $40.

No problem! We love our coffee and want it faster too! During checkout, just select one of the available expediated shipping options. Please note, all rates are based on destination, order weight and shipping service and will incur an additional shipping cost. We do have free shipping as noted above, but who are we to argue with getting your beloved roasts faster!

Currently we ship only within the continental US and Hawaii. (Please note, that once your order leaves our warehouse, we are at the mercy of the shipping carriers.)

OKBF is working with the carriers to offer the lowest shipping rates we can with zero markups. All orders are based on destination, order weight, and shipping service.

For perfect freshness and quality, keep your coffee away from humidity and light. After opening your coffee bags (isn’t that aroma fantastic!), store in an opaque, airtight container in a cool, dry place (hey there pantry!). Whole bean coffee will stay fresh for about 8 weeks from opening. Unopened bags will stay fresh for up to 12 months due to our nitrogen flushing packaging process (learn more below).

All our coffee bags are Nitrogen Flushed, which allows for your coffee to stay fresher longer! A nitrogen flush is the process of using nitrogen gas to remove oxygen from food packaging, thus increasing its shelf life. Because nitrogen is the heavier gas, it sinks to the bottom, pushing out the oxygen. It's almost like placing a solid object in a cup of water, causing the water to spill out.

Nitrogen flushing is a method used to preserve and protect food from damage during shipping and storage. Nitrogen replaces the oxygen in a food storage bag, and it cushions the contents. Unlike oxygen, nitrogen doesn't react with foods or affect the flavor or texture, so they stay fresher longer. And yep, it’s safe and a process used widely in the industry!

Once your order ships, an email notification will be sent to the email address associated with your order. Tracking information and a link to check shipping status will be included.

Currently we only offer three regular small batch roasts. As noted in our story, we drink espresso at midnight, our brains didn’t think to add a decaf roast. Join our email list and stay tuned for news on future products!

Of course! As we grow with our customers, your direct feedback will help us create new roasts to better serve you. In fact, we’re already discussing different seasonal and limited production roasts we can introduce in the future. Until then, enjoy our house roasts, drop us a line with your feedback and remember… nothing makes sense before coffee!

No worries, commitments are hard. While we’d be bummed to see you go, if you want to discontinue your subscription, log into your account and you can manage details under “My Subscriptions”.
